My client is a global health care company with a presence across Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. They are committed to providing products which give people the best possible quality of life. They are currently looking out for Supply Chain Analyst (Inventory).

The key responsibilities of the role would be to liaise with the 21 market on the inventory to collate, analyse the data to understand the market inside, generate reports to understand the sales between the inventory. You will be supporting the Business Partners and Head of Sales for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, develop and manage demand and/or supply planning for a number of markets or a number of supplier of finished goods.
  • Ensure Inventory is managed to global, franchise, regional and country target levels and budgeted values
  • Manage service levels to customers through effective forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing and communication between suppliers and customers, and all stakeholders in-between
  • Own products through their life cycle from product launch to discontinuation through consistent global S&OP process ownership
  • Focal point of contact for the demand planning related activities for the markets assigned.
  • Coordinate with BU, Sales, and Regional Customer Service to ensure the supply plan meets sales forecast and manage importation process to comply with rule & regulation in timely manner.
  • Lead the monthly demand review meeting & collaborate with commercial team to derive to 12-24 months of consensus sales forecast.
  • To constantly review & ensure the key planning parameter such as replenishment lead time are updated.
  • Ensure PO adherence to respective suppliers' leadtime
  • Timely replenishment planning for safe keeping stock at Mundi and 3PL warehouse.
  • Review and monitor stock coverage profile by SKUS ABC classification, prepare stock aging report and discuss on action plan with commercial team to clear stock as soon as possible
  • Weekly order review with customer service on supply status.
  • Responsible for preparation of routine (weekly/monthly) management reports.
  • To manage the inbound delivery of the respective market assigned to ensure timely good receipts by in the market.
  • Coordinate with Distributor on priority and detailed scheduling plan to ensure on-time/in-full stock availability to maintain optimum inventory/meet urgent requirements.
  • Partner with Commercial, RA, Finance on new product launches to ensure correct launch quantities and timing and/or smooth product transitions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of demand and supply planning in FMCG or Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Experience in supervisory role will be added advantage
  • Experience in working with 3PL/4PL
  • Planning using INFOR demand planning, Oracle , SAP preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in handling multiple markets
  • Able to remain focused and work efficiently under pressure while handling multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical skill, strategic thinking, able to zoom in and zoom out.
  • Knowledge of Sale & Operation Planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with cross functional team
  • Strong sense of urgency to resolve issues
  • Can-do attitude
  • Manage complexity
  • Ability to speak local languages in South East Asia region (Mandarin//Thai/Vietnamese/Bahasa) will be an added advantage
