This is a dual-role position, acting as a valued business partner to the local leadership team on internal and external communication matters while providing administrative support to the General Manager.

<About the company>




Ensure key messages from Global, Region and Leadership Team are effectively developed / translated and cascaded down to the local organization. Establish platforms to support two-way leadership-employee engagement in a timely and transparent way.


  • Act as gateway of information and ensure effective collaboration / cross sharing with Japan's Communications Team.
  • Ensure effective use of digital communications such as social media to amplify news coverage and success stories of the company.
  • Update external stakeholders on key corporate and product portfolio development activities using appropriate channels such as articles, press releases, speeches and media events.
  • Review media strategies to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of media works and channels, and adapt as needed.
  • Implement Group, Regional and local communication strategies and projects.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager such as meeting scheduling, travel management, etc.
  • Schedule, coordinate and support the organization onsite and offsite meetings, including preparation and distribution of meeting related documents (e.g. agenda, minutes, logistics plan), as well as management visits from Global and Region.
  • Handle legal and secretarial documents that require execution by all or any member of Board of Directors including the corporate seal.


  • At least 3-5 years of related communications experience in large companies; exposure to Multinational Company environment or medical device industry preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written business communications skills in both Japanese and English
  • Experienced in working with external media and/or PR agencies.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
