EHS - Facilitator JHA Project
Currently I am looking for a EHS Consultant for a pharmaceutical company in Breda.
Start date: ASAP
Coordinate and execute the development of JHAs for production, warehouse and maintenance & engineering activities
Review SOP, WI, Job Plans, tasks associated with equipment for which JHAs need to be developed
Keep area task risk register up to date
Regularly liaise with area managers, together review the planning to ensure completion of planned JHAs by Dec 2019
With task experts, assess the risks associated with the tasks, preferably whilst witnessing the tasks, write the JHA, and upload into the document control system
Coordinate the JHA review process to ensure documents reach final stage
Support warehouse, maintenance & engineering and production teams with mitigation action follow up from JHA and training
Develop weekly/monthly progress reports including status of completed and reviewed JHA, mitigation action follow up and training
For future sustainability, coach and train new area risk assessors/JHA authors.
Chair the governance meetings held with site EHSS lead, Supply Chain Director and Manufacturing Director
Plan and coordinate JHA development with department managers
Ensure timely execution of JHA development within own availability
Solve deviations and obstacles in cooperation with EHSS Risk Manager
JHA development per plan, completed by Dec-2019
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
Typically 5+ years of experience, preferable in a Manufacturing plant.
Must have proven experience in Risk Management and JHA /TRA
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Environment Health and Safety, or equivalent.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both in verbal and written communication
Experience working within the Pharmaceutical, and/or manufacturing industries would be highly desirable.
Experience in advising, coaching, mentoring and counselling
Experience in project management or process improvement
Strong organization skills.
Proven ability to partner with other departments.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to converse technically with engineers and professionals
Capable of working on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of information management and database administration (proficient in use of excel).
Ability to deal with and manage change.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines
