Engineering Front Line Leader

An Engineering Front Line Leader is urgently needed to join a team of highly talented professionals in a growing medical device company in Sligo.


The company are well-recognised in their field and are located just on the outskirts of Sligo. They are dedicated to ensuring their team culture is as inclusive as possible, often organising team-building events for staff including staff nights out. This is a full-time, permanent position working to a 40 hour week. You will be compensated with an extremely competitive salary (DOE) plus a yearly bonus.

What will I be doing as Engineering Front Line Leader?

As Engineering Front Line Leader, you will be a member of the site Front Line Leadership team, with overall responsibility for leading the site's Engineering organization. You will be responsible for managing and developing the Operations Engineering Team to meet the challenging requirements of a competitive Medical Device Industry. You will also be responsible for monitoring changes in technologies and recommend/implement changes in strategies/processes that will result in reduced schedules, cost reductions and quality improvements. You will also have responsibility for managing several direct reports in the Engineering Department, each of whom may have supervisory/managerial responsibilities.

Your background?

To become an Engineering Front Line Leader, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in engineering, biomedical or science. You are required to have at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment; at least three of which managing people. You will have proven capability in implementation of Process capability and Business Excellence principles in every aspect of engineering. Meet the above requirements?
