Manager/Associate Director, Oncology Marketing

Location: Tokyo, Japan Salary: ¥12000000 - ¥14000000 per annum + bonus

  • Promote adherence to compliance and develop appropriate medical information activities based on Takeda-ism
  • To maximize the value of oncology products in Japan, including launch of new products, propose and formulate short-, medium- and long-term marketing strategies
  • Work with the cross functional team and Global Commercial to develop and implement a brand plan to increase market share and sales in Japan
  • Contribute to expansion of business in the future by enhancing pipeline related to oncology products, working in cooperation and cooperation with related departments
  • To maximize the value offered to patients and medical personnel through collaboration with domestic and overseas affiliated departments, interregional affiliates, affiliated companies and partner companies, and further strengthening relationship with KOL

  • Propose and formulate a brand strategy including a brand vision that creates a brand framework (such as product characteristics) that leads to the creation of communication platforms and key messages related to product marketing
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy to maximize the commercial potential of oncology products in Japan
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to build support from KOL and related academic societies, and build portfolio of oncology area. Also, implement strategic KOL management
  • Perform appropriate market research, and perform segmentation, targeting, customer definition, and product position
  • Work with related teams to build price / market access strategies that maximize the value of oncology domain portfolio in Japan
  • Launch oncology products in Japan by planning and execution of Launch Excellence plan
  • Execute market research based on analysis plan formulated together with market analysis team to develop competitive advantage product strategy and forecast sales
  • To maximize product value input to R & D department from a commercial point of view
  • Work with cross-functional team to establish LCM plan
  • Performance evaluation to expand budget management and sales, proposing and implementing cost-effective resource allocation
  • Oncology area pursue business development opportunities leading to optimization of product portfolio
  • Efficient, productive, profitable, highly stable work in the area of ​​responsibility · Propose and establish the basis of execution of organization management and sustainable growth (organization concept / personnel structure)
  • Strengthen execution and cooperation of strategies while taking partnership with relevant departments such as East and West headquarters and area leaders

<Required work experience, skill>

  • Over 5 years' experience in the sales or marketing department of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Successful experiences that produced outstanding results
  • Strategic thinking, target achievement thinking
  • Problem solving ability, planning ability, communication ability, presentation ability, analytical ability, facilitation ability
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams within the company and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
