  • Proactively manage a new student management system project from procurement to completion
  • Provide an efficient and effective project management service for the project, within the available resources
  • Prepare project briefs, tender documents system specifications, and manage any project staff (including contractors) as necessary
  • Prepare budget costings whilst exercising effective budgetary control over the project management period
  • Prepare internal and external progress reports to agreed standards
  • Ensure that the project is managed to internal and external regulations
  • Undertake appropriate risk and issue management, and keep all relevant records
  • Carry out all procurement in a manner which complies with the UCP Financial Regulations and ensure maximum value-for-money
  • Deal with queries from students, academic and other members of staff regarding the project
  • Communicate at all levels on the progress and effect of planned or speculative projects
  • Conduct post project completion analysis and develop database of lessons learned
  • Ensure good communication on project progress, project specification and development
  • support the relevant managers and staff with any service introduction issues
  • Ensure compliance with all information security regulations relating to technology solution designs and ensure security risk assessments are carried out prior at the appropriate time.
